C.P.E. Bach: Sonatas For Flute and Fortepiano

François Lazarevitch en Justin Taylor maken ten volle gebruik van hun veelgeroemde gevoeligheid en virtuositeit in deze opname van sonates voor fluit en fortepiano van Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. De meeste van deze werken dateren uit 1745-66, toen Bach in dienst was van de Pruisische koning en hartstochtelijk fluitist Frederik II. Twee solostukken vervolledigen het programma: de beroemde Sonate voor solofluit in A klein Wq. 132 en de zeer expressieve Freye Fantasie in Fis klein Wq. 67 voor fortepiano, die getuigt van zijn ongeëvenaarde improvisatiekunst.
