Mozart Violin Concertos 1 & 2

Arabella Steinbacher (violin) & Festival Strings Lucerne, Daniel Dodds

Na de opname van Mozarts laatste drie vioolconcerten in 2014, voltooien Arabella Steinbacher, de Festival Strings Lucerne en hun directeur Daniel Dodds nu de cyclus met Mozarts minder bekende maar even betoverende Vioolconcerten 1 & 2, evenals het Adagio in E-groot en de Rondo's in C-groot en Bes-groot. Steinbacher speelt de cadensen van Wolfgang Schneiderhan, de medeoprichter van het Festival Strings Luzern in 1956. Een ander opwindend aspect van dit album is dat zij voor het eerst speelt op de "Ex Benno Walter" Strad uit 1718.
