Deze nieuwe uitgave, haar tiende CD op ECM, “Concert in Athens”, keert Eleni Karaindrou terug naar de Athens Concert Hall, met een groep muzikale vrienden om zich heen zoals saxofonist Jan Garbarek, altvioliste Kim Kashkashian, hoboïst Vangelis Christopoulos en vele anderen. Dit exceptionele concert uit 2010 werd door Manfred Eicher opgenomen en zo maakt de componiste vijf jaar na de succesvolle uitvoeringen van “Elegy of the Uprooting” een triomferende comeback in Athene!
