I'm not in love: The Essential

De uit Manchester afkomstige band van Eric Stewart (gitaar en zang), Graham Gouldman (bas), Lol Creme (gitaar en keyboards) en Kevin Godley (drums) verscheen vanaf 1972 onder de naam 10cc na een zeer interessante oprichtingsfase. Deze bezetting was gebaseerd op een aantal bekende bands uit de beat scene van de jaren '60 in Groot-Brittannië, waaruit de vier muzikanten deze toen nieuwe band vormden.

Deze Best Of compilatie bevat 10cc's hits zoals "Wall Street Shuffle" (1974), "I'm Not in Love" (1975) en "Dreadlock Holiday" (1978), die tot de mijlpalen van deze muziekstijl behoren, en talrijke live-opnamen van de band uit dit vormende tijdperk.
