Théotime Langlois de Swarte (violin) & William Christie (Erard piano)
Leclair en Senaillé, die zich op het kruispunt tussen de Franse en de Italiaanse school van de 18e eeuw bevonden, waren de Franse Paganini's van hun tijd. Technisch veeleisend en toch vol poëzie, ritmisch gevarieerd en altijd dansant, vinden hun sonates twee vurige voorvechters in Théotime Langlois de Swarte en William Christie. Over de generatiegrenzen heen werken de "vereerde oudere staatsman van de oude muziek" (Opera News) en het jeugdige vioolwonder samen om ons te helpen deze nog steeds ten onrechte verwaarloosde kanten te herontdekken.
