In het kader van het veelgeprezen project "Haydn 2032" met de volledige opname van Haydn's symfonieën op historische instrumenten op ALPHA CLASSICS, maakt Giovanni Antonini en Il Giardino Armonico een kleine excursie naar het oratoriumwerk van de componist. Sinds de première in Wenen in 1798 wordt het oratorium Die Schöpfung beschouwd als een van de onbetwiste meesterwerken van het Weense classicisme. Deze buitengewoon geslaagde opname met het uitstekende Beierse Radio Koor en de bijzondere solisten Anna Lucia Richter, Maximilian Schmitt en Florian Boesch maakt dit nog eens duidelijk. Opmerking: Kleine omwegen van de eigenlijke route kunnen ongelooflijk de moeite waard zijn!
