De Britse countertenor Alexander Chance (*1992) werd uitgeroepen tot winnaar van de 2022 International Händel Singing Competition (inclusief de publieksprijs!). Drop not, mine eyes is een ontroerend programma van Engelse luitliederen vol melancholische warmte van o.a. Dowland, Campion, Danyel en Purcell. Toby Carr zorgt voor gevoelige begeleiding op luit en theorbe.
