Andrey Gugnin (piano)
De jonge Russische pianist Andrey Gugnin (o.a. winnaar van de 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition) is een van de meest opmerkelijke nieuwe aanwinsten in de artiestenportefeuille van HYPERION. Voor zijn debuut op het label heeft hij gekozen voor pianomuziek van Sjostakovitsj, die nog steeds ten onrechte wordt overschaduwd door symfonische en kamermuziek. Een werkelijk uitstekende keuze!
